I do not believe we should use words because they are big. We should use words because they are precise. Without knowing any other emotional words than ‘sad’ and ‘happy’ and ‘ok’, how can be appreciate the gamut of lived experienced?
One of my first changes in practice is going to be with using tablets and laptops. They have never been perfect (in fact, technology in schools is still often primitive compared the vision of how it can be used). But here are some ideas I have found:
