Public Speaking and Presenting

Public Speaking

In my youth I was not a public speaker being both somewhat reticent and disdainful of attention. I realised in my 20s, however, that I could not get ahead in my job without the ability to address large audiences with skill and aplomb.

Even Cicero feared public speaking; Churchill even now has a voice that grates. Yet both developed public speaking styles that impacted those around them.

Here I summarise and share methods of speaking and preparation that work for me. I try to show some of the methods I use to prepare, and the drafting process some public speeches take.
