Note Taking

Few students are taught note-taking. Fewer still are taught of the efficacy of returning of thoughts and consolidating work in lessons. Too much of schooling seems to be completing tasks to which you will not return. 

Cornell Notes makes you reconsider previous thought. It requires the restructuring of previous thought. And, ultimately, it means that students are empowered to feel that what they learn in lessons will be returned to later.
