I asked in class today (now) what questions would they ask about the weekly assessment?

They are as follows:

Could we please have a structure for the plan like we normally do?
The plan is yours to create.

Can we have an outline as to which parts of the plan we want to do in class, and which parts should be done at home?

Begin in class, complete at home.

Can you outline which skills/criteria are needed to get a higher grade?
Evaluation, close analysis.

How can you write an essay focussed only on one section?
Explore and evaluate.

After asking these, they were conscious that all these questions merely related to the criteria: none to the effect of literature and its purpose in their lives outside that prescribed by me.

How will this essay actually help us outside the classroom?
